1205 Queen Street West

Proposal is for an eight storey (65 units) condominium. Most of the units are designed to have one or two bedroom, 600 sq ft to 850 sq ft. The architect has proposed that the Queen Street facade and the height of the first podium will match existing streetscape. At grade commercial will be steel and glass retail space on both Queen and Dufferin flankage. The entrance for parking is proposed off the laneway (south of Dufferin), the exit for which is proposed onto Gwynne. In the lane at the rear of this property the Milky Way will be widened by 10’ to accommodate access.



 
 

2376 Dundas Street West
 

An OPA/Rezoning application has been received by the City of Toronto for the site at 2376 Dundas St West.

The application, submitted by Urban Strategies, proposes to redevelop the site for a new mixed-use development containing a 9-storey mid-rise building on Dundas Street West and a 26-storey tower on the eastern portion of the site adjacent the rail corridor. The proposed mid-rise building and tower are connected by a three storey podium.The development would include 389 dwelling units, ground floor retail (totaling 357 square metres), 240 vehicle parking spaces and 299 bicycle parking spaces. Included in the proposal is a pedestrian walkway connection to a proposed new Bloor GO/Air link and TTC subway entrance (Dundas West Station).

A preliminary report  will be submitted to Toronto and East York Community Council by Toronto Community Planing staff. Our office will advise the community when the preliminary report is ready for submission to Community Council.

2803 Dundas Street West
 

An application has been submitted by Tas Design Build for a zoning by-law amendment and site plan control approval to permit the redevelopment of existing vacant lands at 2376 Dundas Street West for the purpose of a new mixed use development consisting of a 7-storey mid-rise building containing 107 dwellings, retail uses at grade and 68 vehicle parking spaces in a two level below grade parking facility, one space of which would be for car share purposes.

A preliminary report on the zoning by-law amendment application will be submitted to Toronto and East York Community Council by Toronto Community Planing staff.

Our office will advise the community when the preliminary report is ready for submission to Community Council.

Site plan approval received and building permit issued for a 12 floor condominium with 108 units total. Construction is well underway.

422-430 Roncesvalles Avenue, 76 Howard Park 
 

The proposed development is a mixed use, 10 storey residential building with 130 units, two levels of underground parking and retail at grade on Roncesvalles Avenue. The builder, project  architect and planning consultant will be in attendance to make a presentation and respond to your questions. City of Toronto Planning and Urban Design staff responsible for the file will also be in attendance.

383 Sorauren Avenue

Developers are currently proposing an 11-storey (34.4 metres high) completely residential building with around 160 units and underground parking. They have since filed an application for zoning by-law amendments.
 

35 Wabash Avenue
 
In 2006 a major development at 1100 King Street West received its final approvals at the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). The King Towns development includes multiple townhouses and a 19-storey tower.

In response to community concerns, an amendment to the proposal will be submitted in the near future which will request some townhouse units to front on to Wabash Ave. A community meeting will be called to discuss the changes once they are submitted.
